African LGBTQ Inc for those who identify as Black and LGTBQIA+ only. We’re always looking for more Black queer and trans folks to become members!
Everyone is needed and everyone’s work is valuable.
If you imagine a world where you and all other Black LGBTQIA+ folks are free from oppression, you have the power to work towards that world regardless of your talent or ability. Everyone has a place in the movement because our freedom will be shared. People with all passions–artists, writers, chefs, educators, stylists, planners, fighters, thinkers, gamers, and more–have always played massive roles in political movements, and so can you. Black LGBTQIA+ people are invited to keep updated about upcoming meetings and events!

Accomplices
African LGBTQ Inc’s membership is only made up of folks who identify as Black and LGBTQ+, but we recognize that everyone has a role in the fight for Black queer & trans liberation. We don’t need non-Black, cis-het “allies” who only pay lip service to our cause but don’t actually risk anything to challenge oppression. We need accomplices–people who don’t identify as Black and LGBTQIA+ who are still actively engaged in efforts to secure Black, queer, trans, and intersex liberation.
Accomplices understand that their liberation is intertwined with ours and join us in our long-term fight against all forms of oppression, especially anti-blackness, transphobia, homophobia. We call on you to support our efforts by volunteering their time, resources, and any other means of support so that we can create lasting change together.
Support Our Work
Most of African LGBTQ Inc's work is undertaken by passionate LGBTIQ+ volunteers. Your support can make a huge difference to our LGBTIQ+ siblings everywhere, supporting queer community-led organizations to challenge discrimination and prejudice, support their community members and change their world!
